In this artwork, even the smallest actions of the audience become essential. Their breath, their voice, and their participation all contribute to the completeness of the artwork.
The exhibition soundscape begins with solar sonification, treating the Sun not only as light, but as vibration. These details drive the spatial rhythm of the composition while shaping its surrounding sonic materials.
As viewers interact with the sensors, each point activates a distinct sustained tone at a different pitch, merging into the overall soundscape as resonant layers within the same energetic field.

Spanning Vietnam’s two primary cultural epicenters, the exhibition demonstrated remarkable geographical reach and public engagement with a total of 3,400 visitors.
‘We are made of SUN’ is a spatial light-sound installation featuring a custom LED matrix and a central volumetric structure that behaves like a living entity, shaped and transformed by the presence of human.
Endorsed by the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam for the ‘Plug in to Evolution’ campaign, this multi-sensory installation explores human ecology and climate awareness through sustainable creativity. Rather than treating the Sun as a visual symbol, we approached it as a primary force structuring perception, knowledge, and human existence.
Developed by Fustic., light and motion form the visual language of the installation. Through the LED matrix, light continuously pulses, expands and transforms across the space, responding to audience interaction in real time.
The visual language, including color, rhythm and animation, can be tailored to the creative direction of each project, allowing the installation to adapt seamlessly to different themes, brand identities and spatial contexts while preserving its core interactive experience. Moving beyond static, the visual environment evolves with every contribution, creating an immersive experience that feels alive and constantly in motion.
In this artwork, even the smallest actions of the audience become essential. Their breath, their voice, and their participation all contribute to the completeness of the artwork. At its center lies a luminous core, the system includes decay logic, meaning that in the absence of input data, light slowly disperses and the structure loses intensity. This creates a continuous feedback loop between presence and absence, reinforcing the idea of shared responsibility in sustained participation to maintain the state of life.
Additionally, the exhibition soundscape applies solar sonification technology using publicly available scientific data from ESA and NASA’s Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO), taking solar activity from oscillations and plasma loops to eruptions as the catalyst to create a deep solar hum that chants throughout the space.
Our bespoke system extracts transients and high-frequency micro-movements to drive the spatial rhythm, serving as the design foundation for the surrounding sonic layers: static crackles, low rumbles, wind and ocean waves, human bodily sounds, architectural acoustic impacts, seismic vibrations, and digital signals.
The system allows sound to gather, circulate, rotate, and dissolve around the central light structure and the architecture containing it. As viewers interact with the sensors, each point activates a distinct sustained tone at a different pitch, merging into the overall soundscape as resonant layers within the same energetic field.
Spanning Vietnam’s two primary cultural epicenters, the exhibition demonstrated remarkable geographical reach and public engagement. By establishing a synchronized, multi-location setup across Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the project engaged a total of 3,400 active participants. The strong turnout across both hubs underscores a growing public appetite for immersive art-tech experiences that foster environmental consciousness, technological innovation, and collective human participation.
