The pianist Ngô Phương Vi at a grand piano, captured with hands lifted, against a green abstract generative background.
A behind-the-scenes view from the tech desk, showing node-based real-time system on a monitor controlling the generative visuals shifting on the distant main stage.
A shot of the audience bathed in a warm red light from the stage, focusing on a smiling woman in a white jacket enthusiastically clapping her hands.
The violinist Hoàng Hồ Khánh Vân playing delicately, surrounded by ethereal blue and teal visual elements.

A string quartet plays passionately, framed by an intense, fiery red and orange abstract digital canvas on the main screen.

Re.imagine Concert Vol. 01 is a conceptual journey based on the natural cycle of existence: Birth, Growth, and Completion. Over a continuous sixty-minute performance, the concert serves as a mirror to the human psyche. By blending the transience of the changing seasons (Nature) with the evolution of the human soul (Humanity), we crafted a multi-sensory environment driven by two primary factors: Classical Music Performance and New Media Art.

Our core philosophy is to make classical music accessible and deeply relatable, transforming an art form often perceived as exclusive into a shared human experience. Breaking away from conventional, formal concert halls, this live performance is brought directly into ordinary spaces, stripping away traditional barriers to meet the general public where they are. Even though the new setting is intimate and welcoming, we take great care to keep the sound quality absolutely perfect, ensuring that classical music standards still get the pristine audio experience they expect.

The concert unfolds across three distinct chapters, guiding the audience's emotional wavelength from innocent curiosity to deep, chaotic self-reflection, and finally, to absolute peace.

  • Chapter I, titled ‘Birth’, focuses on themes of purity, curiosity, and the gentle exploration of a vast new world, delivering a slow, expansive awakening.
  • Chapter II, titled ‘Growth and Development’, shifts into intensity, conflict, and facing life's challenges, representing a profound move into adulthood filled with complex highs and lows.
  • Chapter III, titled ‘Completion’, brings a sense of maturity, serenity, and ultimate freedom that is bright and positive yet deeply grounded in lived experience.

To create an environment that completely surrounds the audience, the sonic landscape was paired with massive LED canvases running Real-time Interactive and Generative Art. Anchoring the visual narrative is a massive central sphere, a shape with no beginning or end that represents eternity across diverse cultures. Flurries of surreal and metaphorical elements of nature, including flora, fauna, and insects, shift, mutate, and evolve across the chapters to depict nature's infinite loop.

Rather than playing pre-rendered videos, the visuals were entirely alive, responding directly to the live performers on stage. Through real-time interactive art, the system analyzed the acoustic input from the classical instruments in real time. Every bow stroke and piano cadence instantly dictated the behavior of the visual particles on screen. Concurrently, real-time generative art generated unique, non-repeating visuals on the canvas. This algorithmic approach allowed the digital environment to remain as organic, unpredictable, and raw as the live musical performances.

By blurring the lines between traditional classical performance and modern live design, Re.imagine Concert Vol. 01 succeeded in creating a boundless connection between music, imagery, and human emotion. The audience didn't just witness a concert; they walked through a living, breathing cycle of life, leaving in a state of profound tranquility.
